Spireites legend Ernie Moss to be subject of new book
A new book is to be compiled of stories, memories and anecdotes about legendary former Chesterfield striker Ernie Moss.
Moss, 71, scored nearly 200 goals for Chesterfield in three spells as a player during his career, but has been suffering from Pick's disease, a rare form of dementia, since 2014.
Now, with the kind permission of Moss's family, Spireites fan Stephen Poxon is keen to hear stories from those who knew, played with or watched Ernie in action.
Fifty per cent of all profits from the book will be donated to Dementia Research.
Anyone wishing to get in touch with Stephen can e-mail him at email@example.com.
