Quiet Christmas ahead as matches are postponed
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the postponement of many matches involving Derbyshire's clubs over the Christmas period.
Chesterfield have been forced to isolate after positive tests within their ranks, meaning their final three games of 2020 have been postponed.
Meanwhile, many of the county's Northern Premier League clubs have seen their festive schedule wiped out after the league's committee allowed matches to be postponed at each club's discretion, most agreeing that not playing was the safest path to take.
In the NPL, only Mickleover still have a game on Boxing Day as things stand, their trip to Basford United still going ahead. All games on New Year's Day have been postponed.
Derby County and Alfreton remain in action, while many matches at steps six and seven of the pyramid are still set to take place over Christmas and New Year.
