Pinxton crush Rowsley as CML fixtures are decimated

Pinxton and Rowsley '86 played out the only fixture involving Derbyshire clubs in the CML South on Friday night.

Only a few CML matches survived the toxic mixture of pandemic restrictions and heavy rain over the weekend, with just one having Derbyshire representation.

That saw Pinxton take full advantage of a switch of a reversal of venue to comfortably win 4-1.

Jay Cooper and Tom Lewis struck twice each, with Andrew Roome's penalty the only reply Rowsley could muster ahead of what could now be a long break before the next Central Midlands League games take place.
