Glossop lose heavily at Worksop despite good start
Glossop North End couldn't build on an early lead at Worksop Town on Tuesday night as the hosts recovered to run out 5-1 winners.
Alfons Fosu-Mensah put North End in front just four minutes in after an error from defender Charlie Jemson.
But Worksop levelled on 26 minutes when Gavin Allott headed James Baxendale's cross past keeper Dale Latham.
Four minutes later the hosts led, this time Jack Broadhead finishing well on the turn.
Worksop's third soon followed, Allott again heading home a Baxendale cross.
The second-half wasn't much better for Glossop, Luke Hinsley getting the fourth goal on the hour mark after a long throw wasn't dealt with by the visiting defence.
The win was then wrapped up late on when Cody Cromack's 20-yarder was deflected past Latham and into the net.
