For the last year or so, DerbyshireFootball.com has been lacking a bit of TLC due to me struggling to find time to make the site as in depth as I'd like given work and family commitments.
I'm still hoping that one day the site can return to the popular source of info it was in the first year of existence (a time when I was furloughed from work during the pandemic!) and that the promised podcast will happen too, but for that to happen it'll need more time and some financial input too (such as sponsorship/advertising) to ensure it is as good as I'd like it to be. I'd also like to run similar sites for other areas too eventually.
For the start of the 2023/24 season, I'm hoping to get things moving again, at least by providing the usual fixtures/results info and some match round-ups too. It's all a question of me fitting things in around my main job, a wife and young children and also working for one of the clubs covered on this site!
So apologies for the lack of life on here over the last few months, I'll aim to improve things as much as possible soon as I still feel there's real potential for a site like this to be a great information source for football followers across the county and beyond.
