Familar face returns as Spireites make double signing
Chesterfield have signed striker Alex Kiwomya and defeder Tyler Denton ahead of Saturday's visit of Woking.
Kiwomya, 24, returns to Derbyshire after a loan spell with the Spireites two years ago, when he scored four goals in 14 games having been borrowed from Doncaster Rovers, from whom he was released in the summer.
Denton, 25, who can play at left-back or on the wing, lists Leeds United and Stevenage among his former employers, with loan spells at Port Vale and Peterborough also having aided his development.
Spireites boss John Pemberton told the club's official website: "It’s pleasing to see them join us. Alex has the attributes we need, providing us with pace up front. He is able to stretch defenders.
"He knows the club from his time here before and supporters liked him when he was here.
"Tyler has been recruited to help the balance of the team. We needed a left-sided player to share the workload. He can play either at left-back or on the left wing. He is experienced and he will bring a different dimension to us as a team."
