Belper see off Wrens to move into second spot

A round-up of matches involving Derbyshire's EMCL sides at the weekend:

Belper United recovered from their 5-0 defeat to Sherwood Colliery the previous week by overcoming Rainworth MW 3-0 on Saturday.

Curtis Williamson and Jake Dodds had United two up at the break, with Rich Hanslow netting a third in the second-half to put Belper second going into the midweek games.

Barrow Town moved away from the foot of the table with a 3-1 win at Borrowash Victoria. Lynton Francis had put Vics in front 19 minutes in but three goals in the last 20 minutes from Scott Smith saw him turn the game around by himself and send Borrowash packing.

Teversal led three times in their 3-2 win at Heanor Town - see a full report HERE.

Shirebrook Town seemed well in control as Luke Manlove and Joe Harris put them 2-0 up against Clipstone, but Charlie Dawes popped up with two late goals to earn the visitors a point.

Graham Street Prims, meanwhile, were also denied late on as Aboubacar Sylla's equaliser denied Prims a win after Lee Fell had put them in front just after the hour mark.
